Indexing of The Evening News is a joint project of LSSU Shouldice Library and Bayliss Public Library.
Indexing
Bayliss Public Library indexing begins with 1887 and includes local
news, births, marriages, and obituaries. Currently only the first few
years are completed in this ongoing project.
LSSU Shouldice Library indexing is from 1991 to the present and
includes local and regional news, such as business and municipal news,
major sports events, obituaries, marriages, and births.
Microfilm Holdings
The Evening News is available at Bayliss Public Library 1888 to
present; other Sault Ste. Marie papers 1887 to 1903. It is available at
LSSU Shouldice Library from 1953 to present.
