May 15, 7-8 p.m. War Memorial Hospital Community Education Series, Shingles will be the topic. Dr. Andrew Alshab will be the presenter. Free to the public. Enter by the front door.
May 16, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Story Spinners Group will meet.
May 16, 7 p.m. Author Gordon Galloway will speak about his book Full Circle: A True Story, an inspirational story about Randy Park, football coach, teacher, and logger. His book will be available for purchase and signing. Friends of the Library will provide refreshments.
May 18, 1 p.m. Saturday Matinee, call 632-9331 for title of new PG-13 drama about a past president. Shown through Movie Licensing USA. Free movie. Popcorn by donation.
May 21, 7 p.m. Chippewa County Genealogical Society, Charles W. Meiser will speak about "Google Earth for Genealogy." Free to the public.
May 22, 3:30 p.m. Detroit poet and musician M.L. Liebler and the Coyote Monk Poetry Band will lead a Poetry and Music Workshop. Free to the public. Call 632-9331 or email bayref@baylisslibrary.org to sign up.
May 22, 7 p.m. Detroit poet and musician M.L. Liebler and the Coyote Monk Poetry Band will perform in concert. This is M.L.'s 4th appearance at the library. He is back by popular demand! Free event. His CDs and books will be available for purchase. Friends of the Library will provide refreshments.
